Established in 2005 by the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS), the success of Day of Immunology led to it being celebrated worldwide since 2007. ASI has been celebrating the Day of Immunology in since 2009.

ASI is hosting numerous events around Australia and New Zealand in 2024 to celebrate the International Day of Immunology.

As the arms race between disease and immunologists continues to rage, It is more important than ever to grow public knowledge and interest in immunology. Take these opportunities to meet our global leaders in immunology research.

Discovery Tours
See where the action happens in Discovery Tours of institutes around Victoria. You can meet experts from a variety of fields and get a preview of the everyday life of our gown-wearing or computer-weilding superheros.

Public Lectures and Seminars
Hear about the latest advances in immunology in our public forums, addressing immunity in privileged sites (VIC), Research from the Bench to the Clinic (NSW) and Immune Disorders (QLD). Bring along your curious questions and learn something cool, strange or useful about the immune system.
